Stand der Dinge is the diploma publication of the Bachelor’s programme in Art & Media at Zurich University of the Arts. The publication accompanies the diploma exhibition and serves as a contemporary snapshot of the show.
The previous editions document the first four graduating classes since ZHdK moved to the Toni-Areal. Each graduating class was documented in three volumes, bringing together a total of 524 pages featuring numerous artistic positions and contributions.
Stand der Dinge is conceived and designed by unfolded as a newspaper and will be printed on newsprint. It is deliberately intended to be unpretentious: an immediate snapshot of the diploma exhibition, a temporary document that captures the current state of the works and will gradually fade over time. At the same time, it aims to make the broad range of artistic positions within the Bachelor’s programme in Art & Media visible in a diverse and engaging way.
