41 fragments pour habiter (“41 habits for living”) is an exhibition-laboratory bringing together 41 young architects, urbanists and landscape architects to share a fragment of their way of thinking about how we live, today and tomorrow. The exhibition is built around fragments: 41 voices, texts, objects and architectural references, bringing together intuitions and positions on the future of housing rather than definitive answers.
Graphic design studio Building Paris (assisted by Alethei) translated this idea of fragmentation into the graphic identity itself, developing a highly typographic language, using EB Trainer Grotesk, where letters are cut, displaced and recomposed. The identity then extends into the exhibition space through unexpected supports, including wallpapers and a large-scale curtain. A visual system designed to remain fragmented, open and in movement — like the ideas and practices gathered throughout the exhibition.
An exhibition initiated by Julien Pansu, Margaux Darrieus and Ingrid Taillandier, co-produced by fonds de dotation Quartus, Galerie Callot of Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture and group 3f_officiel in partnership with the magazine d’a | d’architectures.
Curated by Margaux Darrieus, Ingrid Taillandier and Laura Cardin. Scenography: Jean-Benoît Vétillard with Louis Mounis.
