Brasserie des Prés is a contemporary Parisian brasserie in Saint‑Germain‑des‑Prés that revisits classic French cuisine in a polished, almost bourgeois spirit. The interior mixes warm wood panelling, leather banquettes and vintage lighting with a brighter, more open layout, echoing the restaurant’s balance of heritage and modernity. Both interior and graphic design were handled by B3 Designers.

Tenez carries that same tension in the graphic identity. Its high-contrast, calligraphic serif feels immediately at home in the world of French brasseries, yet its sharp modulation and elegant rhythm give menus and headings a distinctly current voice. Used at generous sizes, the typeface underlines the house’s ambition and refinement while preserving the convivial feel of a neighbourhood address. The additional typefaces are Futura, Aleo and the C-D style of the SAA Series.

The result is a visual tone that matches the group La Nouvelle Garde’s approach: respectful of Parisian tradition but confident enough to reinterpret it for a new generation of diners.
