Designed by Ricardo Báez, this book is a visual and personal account by set photographer Quim Vives of his experience during the making of the movie La Sociedad de la Nieve ("Society of the Snow"), directed by J. A. Bayona. The film is based on Pablo Vierci's book about the 1972 crash of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 in the Andes and the survivors' fight to endure. Through Vives's photographs, the book offers a look behind the scenes at the production and the people who brought the story to the screen.
