Graphite Tennis Fashion Archive is a creative studio and archive of more than 4,500 rare articles of tennis clothing, ephemera and print media, founded by photographer and art director Bryson Malone. It rents pieces to stylists, production teams and designers, and sells a selection through collections, the first of which launched in August 2026, followed by a pop-up in New York.
The identity and website were designed by New York and Los Angeles studio Abbreviated Projects and developed by Ben Paine. The typography is split between two voices. AF Graphite, an extended variable custom typeface from Abbr. Foundry, handles the wordmark, navigation and buttons, while TWK Issey (designed by Rimasùu and published by WELTKERN®) sets the product names, prices, collection texts and legal lines, including the “TFA ©” of the logotype.
Issey’s sharp, calligraphic-incise forms, inspired by vintage French fashion show invitations, give the garments a tailored, slightly formal voice. Set against the sporty width of AF Graphite, the pairing feels more like a club crest than a sportswear brand.
