Drop Shop is a little neighbourhood bottle shop on Lygon Street, Brunswick East, built on a simple idea. Small but bold, the owner took the intuitive layout, tight curation and effortless in-and-out of a Japanese convenience store, and applied it to wine.

Offering a welcome escape from the decision fatigue that often comes with buying booze, Drop Shop stocks a shortlist of certified bangers organised around real occasions (weeknight dinners, weekend parties, impressing your in-laws)—not someone else’s idea of what you should like. Look for the pink elephant.
