Will Pham – Ngon Quá exhibition and calendar

Ngon Quá is a multi-channel moving image art installation by Will Pham, a British-Vietnamese artist working in video, performance, painting and socially engaged practice. His solo exhibition was showcased at Deptford X 2025 festival.
The work features Faire Type’s typeface Octave, both printed and hand painted onto the exhibition walls, with a particularly effective use of the italic and swash characters.

For Deptford X 2025, Will Pham presents a new body of works, Ngon Quá, (In Vietnamese means ‘very delicious’), a multi-channel moving image installation borne from a series of Vietnamese-community focused cooking and socialising sessions. The presentation includes three new moving image works, a sound mural, a hand-painted mural, and a cooking calendar. The works are rooted in Will’s ongoing commitment to being in constant conversation and collaboration with his communities. Shown together for the first time, the body of work honours, highlights, and celebrates the Vietnamese experience in the UK through an intergenerational approach.
