This publication stems from the eighth edition of Roma Design Experience, an innovative educational format created by ISIA Roma Design that aims to “transform learning into an immersive laboratory of applied research and collaboration with national and international institutions”. Bringing together twelve contributions resulting from the interaction between students, faculty, and industry professionals, the volume maps an “ecology of knowledge” where Applied Systemic Design addresses contemporary relational complexity, from the enhancement of digital and territorial heritage to ethical and social responsibility.
The editorial structure and visual identity translate this systemic approach into a narrative infrastructure. Through a rigorous yet open layout, the book gives content a tactile and sequential dimension, guiding the reader through the nodes of research. All typography and editorial layouts are set in Zetafonts’ Altro Grotesk and Altro Serif type families, whose alternation dialogues with the text to deliver structural clarity, formal elegance, and a modern reading rhythm.
Graphic Design by ISIA Roma students Elisa Abbadessa, Sara Andreozzi, Giulia Aureli, Francesca Covicchio, Chiara Raho, Elena Roccaro, Luca Santarelli, Giorgia Susta and
Costanza Vero.
