The Ludwig Forum Aachen is a museum dedicated to contemporary art, bringing together international artistic perspectives and a diverse programme of exhibitions, performances and events.
This year’s annual program is displayed through a typography-based visual system for posters and large-scale banners. The design focuses on the essential information, using type as the central graphic element without additional imagery or illustration. Large-scale typography, varying compositions and a distinct use of colour define the visual language. Different colour combinations distinguish individual exhibitions and events, while a consistent typographic approach connects the various applications.
The resulting system is reduced and flexible, adapting to different formats and content while maintaining a coherent visual identity across the museum’s outdoor communication.
