Tysiachovesna/Tисячовесна is a state initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, implemented by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine together with the Office of the President, aimed at the large-scale funding and creation of high-quality Ukrainian cultural products.
The main goal is to fill the information space with Ukrainian stories and support artists during the war. Support will be provided to projects in seven areas: feature films and series, non-fiction (documentary) films and series, animated films and series, films and series for a children's audience, contemporary music, performative arts, visual arts, audiovisual shows, and videos for social media.
The identity of the cultural initiative is built on the contrast between graphic and typographic elements. Aquawax Fx by Zetafonts works very naturally in this system: together with the graphic symbol, it creates a sense of plasticity through contrast — the sharper bird element on the one hand, and the more fluid typeface with rounded transitions at the points where the strokes connect inside the letters on the other. For us, this creates a feeling of geometric plasticity.
The projects for funding will be selected by 195 Ukrainian and international experts.
