On 20 May 2025, the Swiss independent haute horlogerie manufacturer MB&F introduced the SP One as the inaugural model in its new Special Projects collection. Produced in very limited numbers, the watch sits between the sculptural, experimental Horological Machines and the more classically inspired Legacy Machines. The SP One thus condenses MB&F's experimental approach into its most compact and refined watch to date.

Originally developed under the codename Three Circles, the SP One is built around three seemingly floating elements—the mainspring barrel, the balance wheel, and the inclined time display.

AL Radiolar is used for the watch's engraved inscriptions. Inspired by Heinrich Jost’s Jost-Mediaeval (1927), Radiolar continues one of the earliest explorations into the possibility of designing a classical serif typeface according to the principles of elementary typography, of which Futura remains one of the most emblematic expressions. Like the SP One, Radiolar is founded on a highly sophisticated construction, where classicism and experimentation converge.
