The Kingsmen are a rock band from Portland, Oregon, best known for their 1963 recording of R&B singer Richard Berry’s “Louie Louie”. This greatest hits compilation was released by Wand Records in 1966.

Band name and title are in all-caps Egyptienne Bold Condensed, with the latter set on a circle. Originally a 1880s typeface from Schelter & Giesecke in Leipzig, Germany, this slab serif was revived in the 1950s by Typefoundry Amsterdam who imported it to the United States via their Amsterdam Continental branch, as Egyptian Bold Condensed. The song titles use the Extra weight (1958) of Berthold’s Akzidenz-Grotesk, known abroad as Standard Extrabold Condensed.
