Kit Sans and Refrigerator are the new fonts used by Gamz. Formerly known as Sportfix, the app recently rebranded with a catchier name and a new design.

The logo and the headlines are in Mark Simonson’s Refrigerator, a boxy gothic with caps that resemble the lettering on sports jerseys. With its narrow proportions and small x-height, Refrigerator is not suitable for text on small screens, though.

That’s where Kit Sans comes into play. The versatile sans by Darden Studio ensures that all text is quick to scan and easy to read. It’s used both in the mobile app and on the website, presenting fixtures, results, stats and everything else that’s of interest to sports fans.

While the logotype uses skewed caps from Refrigerator Heavy, the logan “Social Sport Made Easy” is in Kit Sans.
