Fashion Borders (FABO; Croatian: Granice mode) is a four-year research project at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Textile Technology concerned with interdisciplinary articulations of clothing and textiles. Designed by DISKO, the platform documents research into Croatian fashion, costume and textiles across historical, social, linguistic and economic contexts.
The website is organised around a media library and activities, with sections named Exhibitions, What’s Afoot in Fashion, Artist Book, The Language of Fashion, Journal Tekstil and Virtual Fashion Show. It combines project information, interviews, essays, research notes, field reports and archive material in Croatian and English.
The website uses Store Norske Geita from Skriftkompani. The logo and headline typeface is APK TL25 by APK Type Foundry.
