{define} is an architectural practice based in Bruges, Belgium, working primarily on public projects with a strong societal and public impact.

For the new identity, Superset retained the essence of the existing name U/Define while broadening its meaning. The new identity is built around the principle “defined by…” — reflecting how context, need and time shape each architectural project.

Typography and the use of curly braces are central to the visual system. Inspired by the syntax of code, the braces reference {define}'s affinity with technology, BIM and data-driven architecture. The resulting identity combines a structured, precise typographic language with a flexible system that can adapt to different projects and contexts.
