How do you draw disorder without betraying it? That question guided the graphic design of Blatt Morphologies of Disorder, the new book by and about Fahr 021.3: a monograph gathering a decade of the design studio’s work.

Rather than organising an archive, we designed the conditions for disorder to function: three horizontal axes running through the book, colour for completed projects, black and white for everything that informs, references and contaminates the studio’s path. Vertical variations suggest proximities between concepts that, at first glance, seemed distant.

One font, two sizes can be more than enough.
