The Crossing is the 1983 debut album of Scottish band Big Country. It launched them into the charts with the single “In A Big Country”. I also like “Fields of Fire” from this album. Album cover had color variations for different releases (more info on bigcountryinfo.com).

Front cover features “BIG” in a version of Antique Extended as produced in wood by Nesbitt. “COUNTRY” is in Grecian X Condensed, and the album title at the bottom in Aldus with EndcapS. Palatino serves for the lyrics.
