The logo features a custom typeface based on a scoreboard, called Tier 1 Sans, which is supported throughout the identity by TT Hoves by TypeType.

Tier 1 was born out of the rapid rise through the lower divisions of the English football pyramid by local football team, Warrington Rylands 1906 FC. With on-pitch success, comes the demand to meet sporting regulations, funding goals and ground gradings to avoid penalties as severe as relegation that apply no matter whether you’re non-league or Premier League. Tier 1 acts as a turnkey provider for all types of sporting developments, helping them negotiate the minutiae so they can focus on bigger and better sporting accolades. The branding encompasses both technical and hand-drawn elements, representing the fusion of sport and construction, and emphasising the vital role of fans in the sporting experience.
