Volte/Face de la Peinture” (“About-face of Painting”) is the second issue of Peinture magazine. It explores various aspects of painting, in partnership with different art schools for each issue.

This issue was made in collaboration with EESAB Rennes and explores the theme of portraiture through a rich collection of portfolios and articles.

The layout has therefore evolved to incorporate text in various forms, highlighting the narratives that accompany these numerous works.

The magazine is designed by Mathilde Mary and Louise Bourlon-Tréguier, French graphic designers. We used Mercure for body type, ABC Social Mono for the legend, and Jester (the Moon style) for the title.
