La Revolución de Emiliano Zapata is a Mexican psychedelic rock band, formed in the late 1960s. The shown sleeve is for the Spanish release of a single with two songs from their self-titled debut album: the hit “Nasty Sex” and the B-side “Ciudad Perdida” (Shit City”).
All text is rendered in Letraset’s Zipper. Note the capital L inside “Emilano” – apparently the lowrecase glyphs were all used up already. The portrait of revolutionary Zapata (1879–1919) is by famous Mexican printmaker José Guadalupe Posada (1852–1913).
