The widest style of Benguiat Montage, in use on the cover of Bantam’s 1973 paperback edition of John & Mimi, with a cover photograph by Dean Brown and a blurb in Bodoni:

The controversial blueprint for sexual exploration that goes far beyond “open marriage” into a new realm of sensual pleasures

The book was written by Mimi Lobell (1942–2001), an architect, professor, and second wave feminist, together with her husband and colleague John. Married from 1967 until Mimi’s death, the Lobells were outspoken advocates of open marriage.
