Jaha Film Festival is a celebration of films created by trans and gender-diverse filmmakers from the Global South and Indigenous communities. The festival provides a platform for stories, perspectives, and artistic voices that have often been underrepresented in mainstream cinema. Through a curated program of films, Jaha explores themes of identity, community, resilience, and freedom, while encouraging dialogue across cultures and lived experiences.

The visual identity of the 2025 edition is built around Resist Sans, which is used consistently across posters, screening schedules, editorial materials, and digital communication. Serving as the festival’s primary typographic voice, the typeface creates a bold yet functional visual system, combining expressive large-scale headlines with highly legible informational typography to unify the entire identity. The Arabic typeface is yet unidentified.
