Head Hunters is a 1973 jazz-fusion release from keyboardist Herbie Hancock, who here plays Fender Rhodes electric piano, Hohner D6 Clavinet, ARP Odyssey, and ARP Pro Soloist synthesizers. The album reached number 13 on the Billboard 200, making it one of the biggest “crossover” successes in jazz history.

Cover design by Victor Moscoso, with photos by Waldo Bascom and lettering based on Wedge Gothic, arranged on a curve. The credits on the back are set in all-caps Helvetica.
