Construire sans se trahir by Collectif Etc, published by Éditions Hyperville in 2025, brings together discussions held between 2023 and 2024 as part of the "Architecture School of Commons" action-research program. The publication examines alternative approaches to architectural practice and education, bringing together the perspectives of professionals and students from France, Italy, and Greece. The book was designed by the French creative studio Super Terrain.
The design combines saturated, sometimes fluorescent colors with a straightforward typographic system. Process Type Foundry’s Anchor is used for titles, while Swiss Typefaces’ Suisse Int’l was chosen for subtitles and running text, across both the cover and interior. Anchor’s rounded, informal forms give the headings a distinctive display presence, contrasted by the more neutral and functional character of Suisse Int’l. The vivid colors, almost a signature identity in Super Terrain's works, reinforce this contrast, adding a bold visual layer to the otherwise direct typographic structure.
