Marking the 60th anniversary of the civil-military coup, journalist and writer Dênis de Moraes revisits his classic work, presenting previously unpublished accounts and material regarding the experiences and reflections of the Brazilian Left concerning the political process that led to the ousting of President João Goulart in 1964.

The simple layout uses VTC Martin – a typeface inspired by political posters – and the Brazilian flag colors. The design is enhanced when a die-cut hits the year and shows the blood-red behind it. Published by Civilização Brasileira, an imprint ofEditora Record.
