The Cactus Jack × Oakley partnership marks the beginning of a multi-year creative collaboration, with Travis Scott appointed as Oakley’s first-ever Chief Visionary. Working alongside his Cactus Jack team, Scott will help shape the future of Oakley through reimagined archival products, new eyewear designs, apparel, and cultural projects that merge the brand’s performance heritage with his creative vision.
The collaboration officially launched with the limited-edition MUZM X-Metal Juliet release, celebrating Oakley’s Tokyo takeover, and serves as the first chapter in a wider campaign that will continue with new product drops throughout 2026.
The Cactus Jack × Oakley MUZM X-Metal Juliet was released in two exclusive colourways, Prizm Violet Polar and Prizm Snow Black. The project comprises just 100 individually serialized pairs, each presented in custom collaborative packaging with a Pelican hard case, commemorative coin, and branded accessories, marking the official kickoff of the partnership.
The campaigns for the collaboration uses OO Neureal Mono (designed by Laura Csocsán, and available on Outline Online) throughout social media, posters, billboards, short films and on the website itself. The key visual presents a distinct typographic layout that is broken into columns, and uses a very technical aesthetic.
This specific design is possible with using a monospaced font like OO Neureal Mono, in order to achieve ordered text blocks. The art direction for the campaign was done by Studio Pending (with design help from Jahn Koutrios), Travis Brothers, and Cactus Jack.
The campaign features another monospace typefaces too, mostly used in microtypographic details, such as on a briefcase label. The Cactus Jack marking used on posters is set in a pixel font. Some of the campaign visuals also incorporate the title “Juliet” in a swashy letter style. Plus, the blocky display sans TC Europa appears sometimes as well.
