Rocking Time is the second studio album by Jamaican musician Winston Rodney (b. 1945), better known as Burning Spear. It was released in 1974 by Studio One.
The cover photography is by Clement “Coxsone” Dodd, owner of Studio One, who also took care of arrangement, engineering, and production. It’s not clear if he picked the typefaces as well. These are Eightball and Quadrata II. Chances are the type came in the form of sheets for dry transfer lettering by Formatt, a lesser known Letraset competitor. Formatt carried both designs under the aliases Smile and Stonehenge, respectively.
