Passage Group designed the book about Im Jaehyung’s work from 2019 onward. Using Moulin for titles and Terza Reader for text and marginalia in Latin – both available from Commercial Type – and Sandoll MyeongjoNeo1 for the Hangeul, released by Sandoll.

Blank Reading (A Second Life) brings together Im Jaehyung's works from 2019 onward, along with an essay by a performance studies scholar and a critical text by a researcher in visual and image culture.
His works and writing keep circling back to loss, carrying a sensibility that feels classical and mythological, dark but somehow sublime. That quality never stays purely personal; it reaches toward something deeper about what it means to be human. The design of this book was built around holding that atmosphere together, letting it carry through from beginning to end.
