Drawn from the Museo de Arte de Ponce, The Sense of Beauty brings together celebrated works by leading European and North American artists. Visitors will encounter paintings by masters ranging from Lucas Cranach the Elder and Peter Paul Rubens to Francisco de Goya, Gustave Courbet and John Singer Sargent.

The exhibition also celebrates Puerto Rico’s artistic legacy, tracing a path from the religious imagery of José Campeche in the late eighteenth century to contemporary voices such as Francisco Rodón, Myrna Báez, and Waldemar Morales Lugo.

For this book, César Cesio was responsible for the art direction and editorial design. The title lettering, a modified version of Atlante Display, was created by me, one of Atlante's designers, while Atlante Text was used to set the body copy.
