ESIETE collaborated with Barcelona’s City Council (Ayuntamiento de Barcelona) and BIT Habitat to develop the visual identity for the sixth edition of Barcelona Innova Week which took place November 13–19, 2023.
The campaign, structured around three thematic axes—Live Together (diverse, interconnected urban life), Imagine (critical, creative vision for the future), and Experience (curiosity-driven urban exploration)—communicated the event’s focus on urban innovation through a concise, synthetic visual language .
The design employed a modular system, leveraging the geometric precision of APK Protocol in uppercase to reflect Barcelona’s modernist ethos while ensuring versatility across digital and physical applications.
The slogan “Habitar la ciutat” (Inhabiting the City) encapsulated the campaign’s core message, emphasizing community-driven urban transformation .
ESIETE’s work supported BIT Habitat’s goal to foster dialogue on sustainable urbanism, leveraging a contemporary aesthetic to engage citizens, professionals, and international audiences. The visual system included signage, street banners, digital assets and animations, and environmental graphics, prominently featured across venues like Ca l’Alier and the 22@ innovation district .
