In 2024, Isabelle Talagrand’s manuscript resurfaced through a series of precious coincidences: discovered by Méline, a friend of graphic designer Louise Dehaye, the text made its way to this new edition. Entitled Ainsi on a rêvé avoir connu Chopin, this book published posthumously by her brother, mathematician Michel Talagrand, recounts Isabelle's relentless quest (1964–2017). Both a scholarly biography and an intimate portrait of a soulmate never met, this moving account echoes the composer’s own words (“ainsi on a rêvé d’avoir vu Louise”) to deliver a story haunted by absence and romanticism.
In 2026, the text takes on a new graphic dimension at Éditions Le Nénufar thanks to the thoughtful layout designed by Louise Dehaye. Digitally printed by Copy Media, the 132-page book (110×190 mm) builds on a balanced typographic pairing: the Joly typeface by Blaze Type set alongside Roger White’s Swansea, a 1990s copy of Helvetica.
