“Kick off your shoes and go shopping” AT&T ad

Ultra Bodoni was designed by Morris Fuller Benton as his interpretation of the English Fat Face, working from a recutting by the Bruce foundry. The heavyweight with the abrupt stroke weight transition was issued by ATF in 1928. Here it’s used for a magazine advert by AT&T from the “Mad Men” era. The copy is added in Monotype Grotesque:

Relax at home and telephone. Get more done. Have time for fun. The cost for this personal pampering? Low. A bargain even if you could buy it somewhere else. We may be the only phone company in town, but we try not to act like it.
