For art school ZHdK , Soraya-Thashima and graphic designer Sofia Sustercic Ferrer, collaborated hand to hand on three graphic pieces: The Artbook, The Workbook and the Carrier Bag, that explain the art practice of Soraya-Thashima.

In Soraya-Thashima’s assemblages all objects are treasures she encountered on the ground while going about her day. Each piece delves into the stories of these items; poetically reassembling them in an abstract manner thereby crafting new narratives or evoking emotions in the viewer. Her works transgress the realms of the real and the imagined, stretching out over time, thus denying its linearity.
