Ty Segall – First Taste album art, “Taste” music video

First Taste is the twelfth studio album by American musician Ty Segall. It was released by Drag City on the 2nd of August 2019.

Art Nouveau Bistrot is the only typeface used on the cover of the album, in all capital letters, for the title and the artist's initials.

Both Dan Osborn (one of Drag City’s founders) and Tim Presley are credited with the artwork and layout.

Christina Torre’s typeface is also used for accompanying merch and the titles of the music video to “Taste”, the album’s opening track.
