To celebrate and promote an exciting co-headline indie pop show in Brisbane, Secret Sounds asked Mark Gamble to design a tour poster that embodied a little of each bands sound and aesthetic; a collision of TV Girl’s dreamy pop and The Last Dinner Party’s ostentatious, baroque sound.

When creating the artwork for this show, Mark wanted to embrace TV Girl’s Pop Art-inspired aesthetic, with a nod to The Last Dinner Party’s distinctive glam-goth sensibilities. Working in his usual retro, pastiche style, Asoma was perfect for the direction; elegant and funky, with a little bit of flare, both soft and sharp. It felt like it would look right at home on a poster from the 1970s.
