The third issue of the Transnational Social Strike Journal documents the wave of women’s strikes in 2018. The booklet is printed A5 on a relatively transparent stock to make the purple spot bleed through the pages whenever possible.

I was lucky enough to get a pre-release version of Messer to carry the design with its confident clarity. It pairs with Riviera Nights, then a single-weight lab font, matching its resolute, sharp edges with the knifes edge serifs.
