Greatest Hits by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers was first released November 16, 1993 by MCA Records. When Geffen Records reissued the compilation album in 2008, Jeri Heiden of Smog Design designed a new cover featuring photography by Zox and OL Egiziano Classic by Dennis Ortiz-Lopez.
