Found this book in my mom’s bookshelf, and immediately recognized the original Marvin that was the inspirations behind Mathieu Triay’s revival Marvin Visions. The cover design is credited to Jay J. Smith, and I see there is another book here (Alfred Hitchcock Presents), also using Marvin, also credited to Jay J. Smith and also published by Random House (but in 1973). Apparently, Jay J. Smith was fond of Marvin, or he had decided to create a house style using it!
