Published in 1979, The November Man is the debut novel of Bill Granger (1941–2012). Shown here is the paperback edition by Fawcett Gold Medal Books. The cover art with the coarse hand-painted pixel effect looks a little as if it were made from plastic mosaic tiles.

The title is set in Hermann Zapf’s Kompakt, in all lowercase letters. The author’s name and the blurb feature Roger Excoffon’s Antique Olive, in italic and upright caps.
