In 1965, Grosset & Dunlap used Goudy Text for two books published in their Companion Library: The Story of King Arthur and His Knights by Howard Pyle, with cover art by Sergio Leone, and The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi (a pseudonym of Carlo Lorenzini), with illustrations by Mariano Leone.

The secondary cover typefaces are Perpetua and Bulmer Italic.
