Sporer & Kilga at eat&meet

A playful branding for a culinary pop-up event where Vietnamese and European specialities could be combined and consumed directly on the street during Salzburg’s eat&meet festival. For this, studiosteinwender not only designed flyers and labels for the gin bottles, but also T-shirts and posters that could be animated via an Augmented Reality app.

From the studio’s website (translated):

Culinary diversity – this idea, as simple as it is successful, describes the eat&meet culinary festival. It is particularly exciting when restaurateurs from very different spheres put their heads together for this. Michael Sporer and Martin Kilga, for example, created a culinary crossover event of the unusual kind: a combination of the art of cooking and distilling, of different tastes and consistencies, of Asia and Europe.

Inspired by typical Asian cookshops, a pop-up shop was set up in the Getreidegasse, where people could sit on colourful armchairs and taste the Phở soup cooked by Kilga and a gin specially distilled by Sporer to go with it. Kilga, in turn, developed a matching syrup to refine the gin into a fine cocktail.

As the third creative mind, studiosteinwender created the appropriate setting for this extraordinary event: from the design of the gin and syrup bottles as well as the pop-up shop to an artistic intervention on site with graffiti panels and the augmented reality animation of a “digital noodle soup”. Young and urban – a feast for the eyes and the palate that inspires all around!
