Rvm is an independent magazine of documentary photography and other narratives – stories, illustrations, insights – published by the RVM Hub publishing house and designed by Italian art director Francesca Pignataro.
The Red(o) Issue investigates the contemporary through the colour red using a series of colours as mediums – as if they were photographic filters, useful for unravelling a reality that is often difficult to understand.
The masthead and cover were designed by Sunday Büro and the patterns that open the photographic projects by Mistaker.
RVM and art director Francesca Pignataro won the Gold medal for best magazine and best project for “The Island of the Colorblind” by Sanne De Wilde and the Silver medal for best cover during the 2019 edition of SPD held in New York.
