Silent Hill 2 Remake is a 2024 survival horror game and a remake of the 2001 classic, developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami on October 8th 2024. It follows James Sunderland as he returns to the town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his deceased wife, Mary, who claims to be there waiting for him.
Just like the original, the game uses a serif typeface for its UI. After a bit digging in the game's files, Noto Serif is used as the primary typeface. Barlow is used as the secondary albeit in a very inconspicuous manner, used only on the button prompts and parts of the credits scene.
