Cover for the catalog of a retrospective of Sibylle Bergemann, shown in 2022 at Berlinische Galerie. The bilingual book (English and German) was designed by Büro Otto Sauhaus and published by Hatje Cantz.

Sibylle Bergemann (1941–2010) began taking photographs in 1966 and from 1967 was a freelancer for GDR magazines such as Sonntag and Das Magazin, and from 1970 to 1995 also for Sibylle. After the opening of the Wall, Bergemann began a new stage in her career; her reportages – now in color instead of black and white – took her around the globe.
