Shacknews is an American video game journalism website founded in 1996 by Steve Gibson, originally as Quakeholio. In the early 2002, the Shacknews website header used Aspirin. Released with T-26 in 2000, Aspirin is an early Latin typeface by Thai type designer Anuthin Wongsunkakon who went on to found Cadson Demak. The header was design by Mike “haiku” Kane. It was introduced in late 2001, initially in a slightly lighter variant.
