Selections from the McCarthy Tétrault Collection is a bilingual publication featuring more than 50 artists from the Canadian law firm’s art collection.

The book design uses Epicene Text from Klim Type Foundry throughout, giving equal weight to the art and bilingual content, with the intention of creating something that feels more like an art book than a corporate publication. McCarthy Tétrault orange appears on the endpapers and painted edges, adding a distinctive detail to the book’s materiality.

The cover features Geneviève Cadieux’s Flow (positif, palladium) (2021), reproduced with a custom metallic ink referencing the palladium leaf of the original work. Two gatefolds accommodate works by Stan Douglas and Peter Doig.
