This MGM release from 1973 is a reissue and repackage of Sammy Davis Jr. & Count Basie’s Our Shining Hour, originally released by Verve Records in 1965. The cover art is by Craig Nelson. It’s unclear if he takes credit for the (hand-rendered?) line in Adonis. This upright script – rather a connected sans – was designed by Willard T. Sniffin for ATF in 1930.
