plated Berlin is a “A contemporary food guide to Berlin’s finest eateries, featuring chef-selected recipes”. The book was compiled and designed by the initiators of the project, Judith Gilles and Savannah van der Niet.

Roast is used for the wordmark and throughout the book, paired with a yet unidentified sans serif. Part restaurant guide, part recipe book, plated Berlin explores selected restaurants across Berlin’s neighbourhoods, with a focus on design and sustainability. Roast adds a distinctive, sophisticated character to this beautifully designed coffee-table book and its journey through Berlin’s culinary scene.
