Collusion Magazine is a bold editorial project created with the help of AI to question modern beauty standards. It was made as a personal project wile studying at the TH Nürnberg. Through surreal, fashion-inspired visuals and honest, critical writing, this magazine explores the pressure to be perfect — and the emotional cost of fitting in.
The aesthetic actively rejects safe, minimalist design in favor of pure visual tension. It utilizes deliberate rule-breaking techniques, including “incorrect” layouts, extreme and unsafe header sizes, layered text, and unreadable intro fonts.
The magazine combines honest, critical writing with surreal, fashion-inspired AI visuals. By framing the AI as a deliberate artistic choice guided by strict art direction, the project elevates AI usage from simple generation to high-end curation.
