The Petards are a band originally from Schrecksbach, Germany. Alongside The Lords and The Rattles, they were one of the most successful 1960s beat bands from Germany. This French single released in late 1969 on Liberty Records includes a heavy psychedelic track on the B-side.

The sleeve was designed by Jean-Claude Trambouze, pairing Filmotype Quiet and all-caps Annlie. Coincidentally, Fred Lambert, the designer of Annlie, also created a variant of Quiet under the name Sans Stencil. The typeface used here is the original Filmotype design, though, distinguished by its whimsical forms for K and R.
